Kia ora koutou
Wow, what a night it was last night! Thank you to everyone who came along to the shows yesterday. The kids have been working hard on this for weeks including giving up some lunch breaks. We’re so incredibly proud of every student and the effort they’ve made to get to such a high standard, trying their best every day. The feedback we’ve had has been really positive, thank you.
There has been a number of people in the background working hard to make the production the success it has been. Thanks to the teams that helped set it up and to pack it all up again last night. Many hands make light work so your efforts are appreciated. I need to thank the staff too. Without their vision, dedication and hard work it simply would not have happened. In fact everyone has worked so hard I think it only fitting they all have a couple of weeks off! Thanks also to FOLS. The snacks and supper last night were fantastic, thank you.
As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, there is the Annual Parent Online Survey for you to complete from our Board Of Trustees. This is an opportunity to provide feedback to the BOT on the performance of the school and the direction we’re taking. Your response to this would be appreciated. The survey will be followed up by a phone call in week one next term by one of our BOT members.
Today is of course the last day of term three. During the two week break please watch out for more children out and about at times you usually wouldn’t see them, and just because you can see them, don’t assume they can see you.
I hope everyone has a really great break. And I hope too that the weather is better than last time. Finally, good luck to everyone out fishing on 1 October, it looks like it will be a good season. I’m hoping to improve on my 0 fish from last time, it should be manageable.
