Learning has been in full swing this week and lots of exciting things have been happening. On Tuesday each class attended a first aid training session which I know the students really enjoyed. We are hoping to have another session with our Year 5 and 6 students before they go to camp next term along with attending adults. It used to be when I thought about camp it was way off at the other end of the year, but now it’s just around the corner. It’s going to be great!

Thank you everyone for the support during Level 2. At school this week we have built on the practices we had in place last time around and each day remind our students of expectations. It will be interesting to see what the next week holds but I thank each of you for the effort you are making.

There is a possibility being at Level 2 will impact on our Winter Adventure Day. The skiing will go ahead unless we move to Level 3 or the mountain is closed. We’ll confirm this on Monday as we may need to make a couple of changes. The trip to Gore will have to be modified slightly if we remain at Level 2. If that is the case we will use the indoor sports complex to play some games instead of swimming which can’t happen at that level. Perhaps a parents vs Students game? I’m open to suggestions.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Ka kite ano,

Callum Tytler

Acting Principal
